ATP containers best explained:
Which insulated container meets the requirement to call itself an OLIVO ATP certified container? You will find the answer here by explanation, and by video animation presentation. Olivo containers come from an accredited ATP factory in France. In fact, the base where ATP (Agreement Transport Perishables) from the very beginning.
How to identify an ATP container class?
Whenever you investigate an insulation product technical manual find the insulation value! When found, compare them! Remember the lower the figure in value, the better the insulation is! (0,34 W/m².K is better than 0,50 W/m².K).
ATP containers are passive IR class if their insulation value stays below 0,40 W/m².K (all Olivo PE containers comply). Insulated containers with a value above 0,40 W/m².K, but still below 0,70 W/m² is IN class (Olivo Boxes should fit here).
Is an ATP class sufficient?
Insulation alone is never enough to follow ATP regulations. That is why any ATP-container needs to have some kind of energy support, to support the cold energy inside the container. At Olivo we offer 3 energy support sources: 1. Eutectic batteries (plates) 2. Dry ice (snow, pallets or blocks) in drawers and 4. CO2 Siber tank system. All further explained here!
ATP containers applied where?
Olivo insulated ATP- IR class containers allow you to send frozen or chilled with regular (dry) products in a further non-conditioned truck/vehicle to execute last-mile cold chain supporting micro distribution. At Olivo Resellers you can inquire for consult on logistic optimization.
